Ready to take your practice and teaching to the water? Join us this August for a 25 hour SUP Yoga certification in Lake Worth, Texas. We are so excited to bring our incredible, comprehensive paddle board yoga teacher training to the Dallas/Fort Worth area and help to grow the local community of SUP yogis and teachers! Lead trainer Amanda Quintanilla studied under Stoked Yogi founder Amelia Travis, has been practicing and teaching SUP Yoga for over three years, and is the founder of Just Be Well Yoga, the leading provider of SUP Yoga in North Texas. SUP Yoga is still very new in this area, so it’s a great time to get on board and expand your teaching offerings!
This 3 day, 25 hour certification program includes
- SUP Skills: Forward stroke, turn techniques and maneuvering, board anatomy and handling, launching and landing.
- Beginner SUP: Clear, concise method for instructing a beginner paddle board lesson.
- Safety & Rescue: Lifesaving techniques including flip rescue, active & passive drowning victims. Weather and marine hazards, local knowledge.
- Anchor Systems: Individual and group
- Aqua Asana: Beginner sequence and how to creatively sequence on the water.
- Glide Paddle Yoga by Stoked Yogi SUP Yoga Manual (Level 1)
- Business of SUP Yoga: Starting your business, insurance, permitting, and defining your brand. Fleet sales & ambassador opportunities
- Equipment provided for duration of training: Glide Yoga Board, paddle, anchor, and PFD.

In order to provide the best training experience possible, we require a 200 hour yoga certification (or in progress) and current CPR certification at time of training. Meet the Trainer
Teacher training is led by Amanda Quintanilla, E-RYT 200, owner of Just Be Well yoga and Glide Elite Team Yogi & Teacher Trainer. As the leading SUP Yoga provider in Texas, Amanda is excited to share her knowledge and experience with other teachers in a safe and fun environment.
After finishing her 200 hour training with YogaWorks in 2011 and completing her SUP yoga and Kid’s Yoga trainings in 2012, Amanda launched Just Be Well Yoga and began to follow her passion. She also enjoys teaching her flow sequences in adult SUP yoga classes, sharing her passion of inversions, arm balances, getting in a great aerial yoga class, and finding a mind body balance.

Military/Student: 10% off for active duty/retired military (and dependents) and full time students receive an additional 10% off training (must show valid ID).
Training will meet and launch daily from:
Lake Worth Boat and Ski Club, located at 4001 Marina Dr Lake Worth, TX 76135.
Lake Worth is a great spot for all levels of paddlers to stand up paddle board, and our launch site is conveniently located right off of Jacksboro Hwy at the Lake Worth Boat & Ski Club (Just 8 miles from Downtown Fort Worth). Lake Worth is less crowded than other lakes and the wind protected shores, scenic views and wild life make it one of the best spots to paddle in North Texas.
Traveling to Training
Flights: Book travel into the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).
Hotels: There are plenty of accommodation options close to the training launch site. Here are two great options nearby.
