Best of North County Party

Though I live the mellow beach yoga lifestyle today, I didn’t always have such a zen and healthy groove… and I gotta tell you, the party girl in me is still alive and well! So I’m stoked that San Diego magazine is throwing the Best of North County Party next week.

(And I want to meet this champagne fairy)

Brent and I are looking forward to a season of celebration as he retires from the Coast Guard and we move on to the next chapter of life. As fate would have it, there is an epic party happening after his last “real” day of work, April 24.

The Best of North County Party, hosted by San Diego Magazine, and benefitting the Surfrider Foundation, is taking place in Carlsbad at the Park Hyatt Aviara on Friday, April 24 from 6:30-9:30PM.

San Diego mag’s “The Best of…” parties feature food, wine, spirits (like alcohol, not ghosts), casino games, entertainment, and all around fun from the most highly acclaimed vendors in the San Diego area. This event will focus on north county – which you know, if you live in SD, is where a lot of the cool kids hang. 😉 In fact, one of our own amazing teachers – AcroYoga guru Britta Turner – will be performing on site with PrAna and I may have to join her for a flight or two (before meeting the champagne fairy, of course.)

Tickets are $75 in advance or $85 at the door – not a bad price for an evening full of the best that San Diego has to offer! If you want to make it a real party, grab a room onsite at the Park Hyatt and get turnt up. (Is that how you spell turnt? I’m hip, I swear).

If you’ve been stagnating with your date nights, this party is a great opportunity to spice it up. You will find Kookjuice and I making mischief onsite after the party winds down. We don’t like to drink and drive.

(tracking this girl down for fire spinning lessons after the party!)
