Welcome to Day 1 of #Mermaid Yogis: Seated Sphinx pose.
- Begin in a comfortable cross legged seated pose (sukhasana).
- Inhale and reach both arms up.
- Exhale, hinge at the hips and reach forward.
- Support yourself on forearms. Draw heart forward and shoulders back.
- Stay for five deep breaths, keeping spine long.
When you release, extend your legs long and sit up tall into staff pose.
